This course is similar to Master of Business Administration programme but includes the option to participate in a work placement. This will allow you to develop real work experience of the industry and learn how to respond to industry specific problems by undertaking an applied research project. You will also attend two workshops during your placement, which will be held at the University.
Placements are held between six and 12 months. They should be paid and at an appropriate level to your studies. At the University of Northampton, we will support you in securing a suitable opportunity, although you should bear in mind that placements are highly competitive with no guarantee of an offer from an employer.

Executive MBA Top-Up course is specifically designed for applicants with a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) or equivalent qualification, to gain an MBA over the course of a single year. Applicants should also have a minimum of two years in a relevant management experience. This postgraduate qualification can be ideal for professional managers and practitioners, so admission may also be available on the basis of an assessment of measurable and meaningful learnings from your professional experience.
This course includes one module and students will be required to submit a Business Research Report. This till top up your Diploma with sufficient credits to achieve an Executive MBA qualification.

Entry Requirements: A Diploma in Management Studies or equivalent qualification and a minimum of two years in management experience.
The Senior Leader Master’s Degree Apprenticeship is designed to help you progress to a senior or strategic management role. This course combines a master’s degree, apprenticeship, and the option to achieve Chartered Manager (CMgr) or Chartered Fellow (FCMI) professional recognition.

Entry Requirements: Math’s and English at Level 2 and a second-class honors or above degree from a British university, or equivalent qualification.
